The cops tried to deploy that same 'shot spotter' system in CA, I think it was in Sacramento, but it failed.  The system requires calibration, which is a cop at a known location, in the middle of the night when it is the most quiet outside, to fire a blank shot straight up.  Then repeat that someplace else.  The more tall buildings in the area then the more calibration required.  The gang-bangers caught on and every time they heard a shot they would reply and that was the end of the calibration.  The system never did work but boy did it make the lefties feel really safe!

I was going to look into ShotSpotter for the company.  It took less than 2 seconds to realize in what locations it was warranted.  I said, 'fuggeddaboudit'.

The outgoing County legislater for my area pushed for it. We got it. It is useless and never helped prevent or solve a criminal case.

"to fire a blank shot straight up."  So what happens if a real shooter doesn't shoot straight up?  Something tells me you should calibrate for actual events.

The last time I delivered in Brooklyn, I was sitting at a loading dock with the windows down in my tractor trailer enjoying a sandwich from a roach coach that had pulled up. A police car and two officers also enjoyed sandwiches from the Roach Coach and had their windows down eating in the nice summer day. 6 fast gun shots came from our left. The police officers looked over their shoulders in the direction of the shots put their sandwiches down and drove to the right. The guy at the loading dock said they will go back in an hour to pick up the bodies. They don't want Shot locator.

My brother's friend gut-shot a car jacker in Compton, CA, at an intersection about 3:00am.  He drove away leaving the body in the road.  A few blocks later he sees a LAPD sub station and pulls in to report it.  The duty Sgt. asks him, 'When did this happen?'  Then he engages in small talk for ten minutes or so.  Finally he gets on the radio and asks for a cruiser to go to the intersection and report if they see anything.  Another ten minutes go by before the cop car arrives.  Report back is, 'Nothing to see here'.  Duty Sgt. says, "Have a nice day - oh, and be safe out there!"

This is what's being put out for public consumption.  So then, what did they really know, when did they know it and was it all on purpose - a.k.a., was the event timed to meet up with the about-to-go-to-the-floor national reciprocity legislation and th.......... Naaaaaaaaaaah, it can't hap..........

FBI knew Las Vegas gunman had big gun stashes.

Las Vegas, Nevada - The Associated Press - 12 January 2018  ---  FBI agents knew the gunman behind the deadliest mass shooting in modern U.S. history left behind big caches of guns, ammunition and explosives when they sought warrants to search his properties and online accounts, according to court documents released Friday.

However, new questions were raised after a U.S. judge in Nevada unsealed the documents revealing some of what federal agents had learned about shooter Stephen Paddock in the week after the Las Vegas attack.

Full document linked here.

Quote

The 315 pages of FBI affidavits provide just a glimpse of what investigators found during initial searches of Paddock's car and home after police found him dead late Oct. 1 in a hotel room at the Mandalay Bay resort.  Girlfriend Marilou Danley's casino player rewards card was with him, although she was in the Philippines at the time.

The documents made public did not answer the key question: What motivated Paddock, a 64-year-old high-stakes gambler, to unleash gunfire from his room on the 32nd floor of the resort into an outdoor concert below.  Paddock killed 58 people and injured hundreds more before killing himself.

The 'US judge in Nevada':   Jennifer A. Dorsey.
Her former firm:  Kemp, Jones & Coulthard LLP, Las Vegas.
Her former firm's political donations:  Over 95% to rabid rights-grabbing Democrats including Hillary Clinton and Harry Reid, with the rest to RINO's.

Appointed to the federal bench by El Guapo in 2012, confirmed in 2013.

Excerpt of an article from 8 July 2013 in The Las Vegas Sun:

Quote

On the day that the Senate Judiciary Committee recommended Dorsey's nomination to the full Senate for a vote, Sen. Dean Heller came out and declared himself firmly opposed because he didn't like the circumstances surrounding her nomination.

Nevada Sen. Harry Reid recommended Dorsey for the federal bench shortly after two founding partners of her firm, Kemp, Jones & Coulthard, donated $150,000 to Majority PAC, a political action committee that is run by former Reid advisors and worked during the 2012 campaign season to promote Democratic Senate candidates including Heller's opponent, former House Rep. Shelley Berkley.

The neck on the back of my hairs is startin' standin' on edge.

It's pretty much the same face as before I read this.

Maybe it was something like all the blatant political payoffs and corruption that happen in our country on a daily basis without any regard for those who elect and pay for our government, representatives, or fear of consequences for their actions?

Answer, he did not.  Can you say Patsy?

".... before killing himself."

He did not, the real killers just did not want to sacrifice another Jack Ruby to silence the patsy, so they took care of it then and there.

ZeroHedge.   Posting 16 January 2018 - 2025 Hours (Eastern).

Commentary by ZeroHedge user "NoDebt" before the article excerpt:

Quote

Whatever actually happened in this incident I think it's fair to say they got away with it.  If somebody came out and told the literal truth behind this, right now, tonight, nobody would believe it.

Sorry but this one is going down in the conspiracy theory hall of fame probably only one or two notches below the JFK assassination.

Two sections of the ZeroHedge posting:

Quote

New charges could be coming in the Las Vegas Mandalay Bay mass murder, an attorney for the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police said Tuesday during a courtroom battle over the release of search warrants related to the shooting.

Arguing in against several media organizations who made the request, LVPD attorney Nicholas Crosby noted that because potential charges against other people could be in the works - releasing the warrants could taint their ongoing investigation, according to Fox News.

----- and -----

Quote

Meanwhile one of several questions surrounding the still-unsolved Mandalay Bay shooting is the lack of any closed circuit television footage (CCTV) of shooter Stephen Paddock anywhere in the hotel in the days leading up to the deadliest shooting in modern U.S. history.

No footage has been seen of Paddock checking in at the Mandalay Bay lobby, walking around the hotel, or lugging more than 20 long rifles up to his 32nd floor room along with thousands of rounds of ammunition before his deadly rampage on October 1, 2017.....

Nada ver aqui, maing.

Nada en todo.

This entire event is like some kind of a totally f-upp'd joke.

'Brave warrior (named "Patsy") wants to marry the chief's daughter.  Heart is in the right place but he is dumb as a stump.  So the chief gives him two challenges as a test of candidacy for his daughter's hand in marriage.  #1) kill a bear with just a knife, and #2) rape the rival tribe chief's virgin daughter.  The young but dumb warrior brave takes up the challenge and runs off into the woods.  Days later he returns, crawling into the village, badly wounded but alive.  He crawls up to the chief and asks, "Okay, that is done, now who's daughter am I suppose to kill with just my knife?" '

Remember the 'Doomsday Device' in the movie, 'Dr. Strangelove'?  "Of course, the whole point of a Doomsday Machine is lost, if you *keep* it a *secret*! Why didn't you tell the world, EH?"

I have to think, with this entire 'Vegas shamazzle, someplace, there is an evil mastermind doing a face-palm because the cause and effect are out of sequence.

Think of the Blues Brothers when John Belushi is begging for his life at the feet of Carrie Fisher.  Someone is running the same lines in front of the evil mastermind, "Honest... I ran out of gas. I... I had a flat tire. I didn't have enough money for cab fare. My tux didn't come back from the cleaners. An old friend came in from out of town. Someone stole my car. There was an earthquake. A terrible flood. Locusts! IT WASN'T MY FAULT, I SWEAR TO GOD!"

Someone lost their celfon.

The battery went dead.

There was a typo in the email address.

They forgot the account password - confusion between the letter capitol 'O' and the numeral zero '0'.

Oh, my, if only we had a transcript, a recording, a video!

NSA?  What have you got?
