So I am handed a $50 and told to get the usual, eg; Milk, eggs, bread, oysters, peanut butter, KY Jelly, etc. Just left inside the market entrance is the liquor department and somehow or another the horizontal gravity sucked me in. You know how it goes. So I am wandering around trying to figure out how I ended up there when the manager floats up and asks, "Can I help you find anything?"
I replied, "Milk, eggs, bread, oysters, peanut butter, KY Jelly, etc. but I only have a fifty to spend."
He says, "Perfect! Yesterday the Booker's uncut & unfiltered small batch bourbon was nearly $150 on the shelf but when I came in today I see the product has been put on clearance and the price reduced by more than 2/3rds. Now it is less than $50 AFTER tax! I only have one bottle left..."
Me, "No you don't!"
I can get Milk, eggs, bread, oysters, peanut butter, KY Jelly, etc. anytime but a deal like this won't come around often.
